Community Beach Clean Up
For this assignment we wanted to keep this
project simple and straightforward, keeping our concentration on the audience,
which is the community. Sticking with
this idea we created a series of advertisements for the event, such as posters,
flyers, t-shirts, and a website. We
created a bright and fun event that consist of bright blue colours and simple
but fun illustrations to attract the attention of all age groups in the
community from children to elderly.
This would create a beach clean up where families and locals can meet up together and join as one to clean up their communities’ larger backyard. We want this to result in the community wanting to continue to clean their environment and keep it an open place for families and locals. At first we tried to take a rhetorical approach using the idea of perception vs reality but the more we experimented with it the more we realized it didn’t work well with the targeted audience so we created a new idea which lead us to focus on a fun and exciting approach. To portray this we made the products in this assignment provide a simple narrative of the community coming together to clean up their backyards for their families and future.
